•San Antonio (SAT) approach frequency is 127.5 depending on your approach radial
•The local Unicom frequencies for New Braunfels and San Marcos, are 122.7 or 122.8 (You probably should monitor these two for traffic when approaching Huber)
•Randolph Air Force base auxiliary field is south and east of Huber field. High speed fighters are using this field for practice normally Monday through Friday (Their final approach just about parallels our runway, and roughly 5 miles east, so be aware, and check your sectional)
• Pilot controlled runway lights. Frequency is 122.9 - click 5 times very slowly.
•Both ends of the approach have buried power lines so there are no obstructions
•Paved roads
•Rotating beacon
•Water available from Spring Hill Water
•SW Bell telephone fiber-optic cable has been laid for this area

•Attractions that are nearby - Schlitterbahn Water Park, Gruene Texas, The Bandit Golf Course, Lake McQueeney, Lake Placid, Lake Dunlap, Guadalupe River, Texas Ski Ranch, Retama Race Track, Canyon Lake
•San Antonio and the famous River Walk are approximately 30 minutes southwest
•Austin is approximately 45 minutes north
•San Marcos is approximately 15 minutes north with one of the largest outlet malls in the United States
•We have excellent relationships with our neighbors. In fact, the airport is named for a gentleman that has several hundred acres planted in corn directly adjacent to the airfield, (Dennis Huber) and has been in his family for over 100 years
